So Apple introduced Family Sharing back in iOS 8, but I’m guessing most of you aren't utilising Family Sharing.

 

Family sharing allows you to:

Share location: family members can share their location.

iCloud storage: if you have a storage plan, then you can share it with your family.

Share purchases: You can share the media on iTunes, Book, and more app store purchased.

Screen time: if you have a child account in your family, then you can set screen limit and view reports.

Apple music: You can purchase the family plan subscription allowing you to share apple music with your whole family.

TV channels: If you have subscribed to a premium streaming service through the TV app, you can share it with your whole family at no added cost.

Apple Arcade: This is included with no added cost.

Apple News+: If you have the premium magazine and newspaper subscription in the News app, you can share it with your family at no extra cost.

 

Setting up on iPhone / iPad:

1. Go to "Settings" and tap on your "Apple ID" account at the top.

2. Tap "Set Up Family Sharing".

3. Tap "Get Started" and follow the on-screen instructions. You'll send a special iMessage to the people you want to invite. They'll need to tap on it to accept. 

 

Setting up on Mac:

1. Open "System Preference"

2. Click "Family Sharing" 

3. You'll be asked to confirm your Apple ID and then promoted for family members invite.

 

You are allows you add up to 5 family member but you can add and delete at any time.
